Capitals Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
In a low-scoring game between the Victoria Capitals and the Trois-Rivieres Saints, pitcher Justin Adler was masterful on the mound. The Victoria left-hander was named the player of the game in Victoria's 2-1 win. Victoria is now 2-3.
Victoria right fielder Chris Neale contributed to the cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Neale went 1 for 3 with a double.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Trois-Rivieres skipper Salvador López.
