Calgary first baseman Dan Hodgson pounded Kelowna Heat pitchers at Corvettes Ballpark, but it was not enough to keep the Outlaws from falling, 14-10. Hodgson went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. Kelowna improves to 3-2 as they look to defend their championship.

Kelowna took a 4-2 lead on Henry Harrington's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Calgary pitcher Lou Swyers in the top of the seventh.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Harrington told the Kelowna Bulletin. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
