Calgary designated hitter Randy Stackhouse was instrumental in his team's 8-4 win over the Montreal Royales. Stackhouse, who is the top prospect in the Outlaws organization, went 3-3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Outlaws. The Outlaws, now 3-0, have hit the ground running this season.

Cody Bayles, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he connected on a fastball from Alan Best for a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season put Calgary in front, 8-4.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Bayles told the Calgary Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."
