Big Day for Harrington as Royales Down Heat, 6-3
The Kelowna Heat opened their 2032 season with a disappointing 6-3 loss to the Montreal Royales at Brantford College Grounds. First Baseman Christopher Harrington was a big part of the win for Montreal. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Jim Spracklin, who went 5.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 1-0. Stephen Lau finished the game for Montreal and earned his 1st save.

Harrington provided the big break for the Royales in the top of the first inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run, helping Montreal to get the win.
