Ragin Cajuns Fall to .500 After Loss to Aggies
|
The Texas A&M Aggies got a magnificent performance from pitcher Dan Mast, who stifled the Louisiana-Layfayette offense en route to a 3-1 Aggies win at Sooners Ballpark. In 5 innings, Mast surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed 1 run. The Aggies improved to 15-31.
With Texas A&M trailing 1-0 and a runner on 1st, the Aggies fortunes got a boost when right fielder Matt Shivers turned a 2-0 fastball from Shawn Thompson into his 2nd home run of the season. The hit scored 2 and put Texas A&M up, 2-1.
"We put together a nice win," Mast said.
