Indiana State used a superb performance from starting pitcher Christian Barnes to down the Iowa State Cyclones, 4-1. Ray Toye picked up the save for Indiana State, his 9th of the year. Indiana State goes to 31-15. The win puts them 2 games up in their division.

The Cyclones had trouble solving Barnes, who surrendered no earned runs on 2 hits over 6.2 innings.
