Leiby Leads Sooners to Win
|
T.J. Leiby knocked in all 4 runs for the Oklahoma Sooners, helping them beat the Iowa State Cyclones, 4-1. Jim Unknown earned the save for Oklahoma, his 1st. The 11th-place Sooners have won 4 straight games.
Leiby brought the fans to their feet in the bottom of the first, when the 19-year old right fielder ripped a 3-run home run. The round-tripper put Oklahoma ahead, 3-0.
Leiby called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
