Victory Over Razorbacks Takes Vanderbilt to 28-16
It was a good time at Ballpark of Barrow College, where fans came to watch the Arkansas Razorbacks and Vanderbilt Commodores get after it.

Vanderbilt Commodores starter John Gayden was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Arkansas Razorbacks, 10-4. Gayden, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs.

Marty Ricker had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the second for Vanderbilt. He came through with a bases-clearing double to put Vanderbilt in front, 4-2.

Ricker said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

Vanderbilt is third in the Ron Fraser Division with a record of 28-16.
