Tigers Stick Aggies with 3-0 Loss
|
LSU got a first-rate effort from pitcher Perry Maniscalco, who frustrated Texas A&M hitters en route to a 3-0 Tigers triumph at Sooners Ballpark. LSU has a 3-game win streak, while Texas A&M has lost 3 in a row.
In the top of the second, with LSU leading 1-0, Mark McNamee hit a cutter from Steve Skow for a 2-run single, giving the Tigers the lead, 3-0.
"It's a mindset," said Maniscalco. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
