Wildcats Take Down Cougars, 6-0
|
Arizona Wildcats starter Mike Sapienza turned in a top-notch performance against the Houston Cougars at Red Wings Ballpark. The result was a win for the Wildcats, 6-0. Sapienza, now 2-4, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing no earned runs. The Wildcats sit in 17th place in the Cliff Gustafson with a record of 18-23.
The fans who came in support of the Wildcats were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Red Wings Ballpark.
