Orlando Sensational for Tigers
|
Blake Orlando was superb against Mississippi State. The left-hander, who is the top prospect in the Tigers organization, had a circle change that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 7-3 Tigers victory. LSU now sits at 23-18, while Mississippi State falls to 21-20.
Orlando, a native of Tampa, Florida, was dealing all game. He kept Mississippi State hitters off-balance, while giving the Tigers 6.1 quality innings. Orlando threw 87 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 10.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Orlando.
