Benefiting from Dave Perkins's productive game, the Indiana State Sycamores downed the Florida Gators, 6-3. Perkins went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Sycamores. Indiana State is now 29-12, 3 games up in the Ron Fraser Division.
