Matt Burks was instrumental in his team's 9-6 triumph over the Miami Hurricanes. The designated hitter was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the South Illinois Salukis. The Salukis now have a mark of 16-24.
