The 2032 season is getting ugly for TCU.
The Stanford Cardinals downed the TCU Horned Frogs, 5-1, at Surfers Ballpark. Travis Voss led the way, going 4-for-4 for Stanford. Stanford has now won 3 in a row.
Going deep for Stanford was Aaron Mezzell. The center fielder had a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Cardinals. It put his team ahead, 3-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Mezzell went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
Mezzell said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
