A nice crowd turned out to see the Florida Gators and Auburn Tigers clash at Zodiac Ballpark.

Chris Crowley left his imprint on the 11-5 Florida win against the Auburn Tigers. Crowley went 2 for 3 with a double and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. At 20-18, the Gators find themselves in 9th place in the Ron Fraser Division.

A key at-bat in the game came in the top of the sixth inning when the Gators sent teenager Jose Lopez to the plate against Tigers hurler Andrew Parks. With the bases loaded and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a single off a 0-1 cutter to score 1.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Crowley said. "We did a good job of that today."
