Tigers Lose to Tigers in Walk Off
The Missouri Tigers did just enough to secure a 11-10 victory over the Clemson Tigers at Ballpark of Ridge College. Nobody did more than center fielder Pat Hope, who captured player of the game honors. The winner was Missouri reliever Bryan Jackowitz, now 2-2. The loser was Rich Tygart. The 19th-place Tigers raised their record to 16-22.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the ninth, Paul Carter had a chance to end it. Clemson pitcher Rich Tygart had other ideas. But with two outs, Carter drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Tigers had the win.

"This place was rocking at the end," Hope said.
