Georgia Tech had no answer for Virginia Cavaliers starter Danny Horn, who flummoxed Yellow Jackets hitters as the Cavaliers cruised to a 6-1 victory. Today's win puts Virginia at 22-14, while Georgia Tech falls to 15-21.

Virginia shortstop D.J. Schulte contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a curveball into right field for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Cavaliers ahead, 3-1.

Schulte told a Virginia News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
