Vanderbilt Wins, Biernacki goes 3-for-5
|
The Vanderbilt Commodores defeated the Florida State Seminoles, 12-6. Earning player of the game honors was third baseman Brent Biernacki, who went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. John Cox picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. On the season, he is now 4-0.
