Sasquatch Come Up Short at New York
Dennis Montgomery pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Seattle Sasquatch, despite Montgomery's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the New York Mafia at Don Corleone Park. Mito Ishikawa earned the win to go to 3-3. He allowed 2 earned runs on 8 hits, with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts. Even with the win, the Mafia have a dismal 24-51 record.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Edward MacKinley contributed a big hit for the Mafia. With New York trailing 2-0, he hammered a 2-run home run.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said MacKinley.
