Wolverines Get Past South Carolina for 3-2 Win
|
Michigan Wolverines starter Evan Thomas turned in a sterling performance against the South Carolina Gamecocks, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. At 17-17, Michigan is in 14th place in the Ron Fraser Division.
Noah Smith contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 2nd, he drew a walk. It was one at-bat that helped send Michigan to the win.
"We missed opportunities once again," said losing manager Orlando Torres.
