The Arkansas Razorbacks met little resistance from the South Illinois Salukis, beating them 13-1 at Ramparts Ballpark. Roy Monroe led the way. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Arkansas. Arkansas currently is in 12th place in the Ron Fraser Division at 18-16.

The fans who came in support of the Razorbacks were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Ramparts Ballpark.
