Leiby Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for T.J. Leiby today -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage and sparkled on the diamond at Biglerville College Fields, but the performance lost a little luster when the Sooners were downed 9-7 by the Florida State Seminoles.

After his glittering performance, the Oklahoma right fielder told the press that he "just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat."

His batting theory paid dividends today as he slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book.

"I just wish we had added a win in the record book today, too," Leiby said.

T.J. Leiby singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 9th, walked in the 10th, walked in the 12th and singled in the 14th.

Leiby is swinging at a .372 pace on the year with 11 home runs, 30 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 34 games.
