Pakpahan Helps Hawaii Cruise to 12-3 Win
The game between Hawaii and Portland is in the books, despite a little rain.

The Hawaii Islanders handed the Portland Beavers a sound defeat, 12-3, at Waterfront Park. Bagaskoro Pakpahan was a main contributor to the win. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Hawaii. The Islanders bumped their record to 39-31 with this latest triumph.

Flexing his muscles for Hawaii was the aforementioned Pakpahan. The designated hitter had a 2-run home run in the top of the first for the Islanders. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Leland Ray said.
