In a low-scoring tilt between the Michigan Wolverines and the Arkansas Razorbacks, Jaden Brown was the difference-maker. The Michigan right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 2-0 win. Michigan reliever James Arnold picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Lance Robinson was saddled with the loss. The Wolverines raised their record to 15-17.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Noah Smith came to bat in the top of the 13th. Facing Arkansas pitcher Lance Robinson, he hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Michigan on top, 2-0.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Michigan manager Esteban Núñes.
