Horned Frogs Drop Another One
|
The Tulane Green Wave defeated the TCU Horned Frogs, 7-3, in Rod Dedeaux League action at Berthoud College Grounds, with Tulane designated hitter Pete Koehn named player of the game. The losses continue to add up for TCU, which has now fallen 8 times in a row.
Jayden Stevenson was a key contributor to the win for the Green Wave. In the bottom of the fourth with no one out, the light-hitting second baseman stroked a home run to left. He was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Stevenson told the Tulane Times.
