A 3-RBI performance from second baseman Mark Wolter, who is tied for 7th in the RDL in doubles with 10, led the Oregon State Beavers to a 8-2 win over the UCLA Bruins. Oregon State reliever Jason Settle picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jonathan Frias absorbed the loss. Joe Schoolcraft finished the game for Oregon State and earned his 1st save.

Wolter had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Beavers went on to win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Wolter. "And not try to do too much."

Oregon State is now 12-20, UCLA 15-17.
