Bernardin Slugs Tigers to 25-8 Win
Clemson first baseman Omar Bernardin was a significant contributor in his team's 25-8 triumph over the Georgia Bulldogs. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 5 runs and driving in 6 for Clemson. Clemson reliever Danny Lane picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Tim Bogle was collared with the loss. Even with the win, the Tigers have a dismal 10-22 record.

Bernardin had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the first, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Tigers went on to win.

"We'll savor this win," Bernardin told the Clemson Daily, "then get ready for the next game."
