Brooks goes 3-for-4, Leads Ragin Cajuns to Win
Matt Brooks left his imprint on the 12-5 Louisiana-Layfayette win against the California Golden Bears. Brooks, who is tied for 2nd in the RDL in doubles with 11, was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. The win puts the Ragin Cajuns at 15-16, while the Golden Bears drop to 8-23.

Brooks in the bottom of the first had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Ragin Cajuns leading 6-0, he hit a bases-clearing double.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Brooks told the Louisiana-Layfayette Observer. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
