Bruins Snatch Late Win
The UCLA Bruins beat the Ole Miss Rebels, 4-2, at Ballpark of Wrightsville College. The Bruins got a fine performance from first baseman William Poulis, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. UCLA reliever Marc McDougald was credited with the win, to go to 1-2. Daniel Flamenco took the loss for Ole Miss. Jim Unknown earned the save for UCLA, his 1st of the year.

Isaiah Bailey contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a single. It was one at-bat that helped UCLA get the win.

"Nervous? No," said Bailey. "It was my time to shine."

The Bruins go to 15-15, putting them 12th in the Cliff Gustafson.
