Bulldogs Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Fresno State Bulldogs defeated the Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns, 12-5, at Brooks College Grounds. Fresno State left fielder Danny Stone was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 1-2 with 3 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Danny Jensen got the win, improving to 3-0. He worked 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. At 23-7, the Bulldogs have a slim two-game lead in the Cliff Gustafson.

Giovanni Patrick had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Fresno State. With the bases loaded and the Bulldogs leading 1-0, he got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.
