With catcher Bill Beasley leading the charge, the Long Beach State 49'ers defeated the Arizona Wildcats, 10-4, at Red Wings Ballpark. Beasley, who is tied for 6th in the RDL with a .394 batting average, went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Brandon Christopher was the winning pitcher. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts. Kyle Silberman closed the game out for Long Beach State, earning his 2nd save.
