The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the New York Mafia, 5-2, at Don Corleone Park. Seattle third baseman Kazuyoshi Takahashi was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. Seattle, now 31-41, holds last place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

Takahashi had a game-changing triple in the top of the seventh. On a full count changeup from Luis Vega, he banged a run-scoring triple to right-center, giving the Sasquatch a 3-2 lead. It was the 3rd triple of the year for Takahashi.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Takahashi told the Seattle Observer.
