Bulldogs Fall to Longhorns, 7-3
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 19-year old right fielder Jerry Jaeger helped the Texas Longhorns beat the Fresno State Bulldogs, 7-3. Matt Hendricksen finished to wrap up his 1st save. Texas, at 12-15, occupies 19th place in the Cliff Gustafson.
Texas grabbed the momentum in the top of the seventh, when Jaeger hit a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Longhorns out in front, 5-3.
"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Jaeger. "I just want to win ballgames."
