Beavers Top Islanders Behind Reina, 7-1

A nice crowd turned out to see the Portland Beavers and Hawaii Islanders clash at Waterfront Park.
Portland Beavers starter Félix Reina turned in an exceptional performance against the Hawaii Islanders at Waterfront Park, resulting in a Portland win, 7-1. The 5th-place Beavers improved to 33-39.
Reina delivered a quality start for Portland. The 6' 5" left-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits over 7 innings of work.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Beavers manager Ryan Blandford, "I like our chances."
