Big Day by Ellefson Ignites Cavaliers Win
Virginia played host to Auburn at the friendly confines of Ballpark of Redwood College.

Virginia first baseman Curt Ellefson was instrumental in his team's 13-6 win over the Auburn Tigers. Ellefson went 3-4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cavaliers. Virginia, at 16-10, occupies third place in the Ron Fraser Division.

Ellefson's nice game included a clutch 2-run single in the bottom of the first.

"We've got a great group of guys," Ellefson said, "and we're having fun right now."
