Cowboys Need Extras to Top Buckeyes
The Oklahoma State Cowboys got a magnificent effort from pitcher Brett Johnson, who kept Ohio State hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Cowboys win at Canaries Ballpark. Oklahoma State now has a 3-game win streak.

Late in the game, shortstop Karl Odom had a big at-bat for Oklahoma State. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single off Rich Steverson. The play gave the Cowboys a 2-1 lead.

"Runs were at a premium," said Oklahoma State manager Chris Dunn.
