Redding goes 3-for-3, Golden Eagles Move to 15-10
|
Golden Eagles first baseman Danny Redding put his stamp on his team's 7-3 win over the Cal State Fullerton Titans. Redding was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for South Mississippi in the contest. The Golden Eagles now have a record of 15-10 with the win over Cal State Fullerton.
The Golden Eagles used some clutch hitting to beat the Titans, a good example being the at-bat of Danny Medina in the top of the fourth. With two down, Medina gave his team the lead, 3-2, when he hit a run-scoring single.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Medina.
