Bobby Cahall was instrumental in his team's 7-4 triumph over the Tulane Green Wave. The third baseman hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Texas Longhorns. Texas reliever Evan Ford picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-2. Travis Bohac was collared with the loss. Jonathan Adams closed the door for Texas, picking up his 3rd save of the year.

Ben Alexander was a key contributor to the win for the Longhorns. In the bottom of the seventh with one out, the light-hitting first baseman stroked a single to right-center. He went 1 for 4.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Alexander said.

Texas is now riding a 3-game win streak.
