The Iowa State Cyclones got production from their entire lineup in an easy 14-3 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores. Player of the game honors went to left fielder David Gold. Gold was 2-3 with a home run and was hit 2 times. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Iowa State is now 12-12.

In the bottom of the third inning, the Cyclones grabbed the lead when Justin Olson rapped a two-out double. Iowa State was trailing 1-0, when Olson hit a 2-run double off David Swint to put his team in front, 2-1.
