Tulane beat LSU on the strength of starter Jesse Lay's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 8-3 win. Lay picked up the win for Tulane, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. Even with the win, the Green Wave have a dismal 7-17 record.
