The USC Trojans did just enough to sneak past the Oregon State Beavers, 7-6, at Nesquehoning College Fields. USC catcher Brett Stark earned player of the game honors. With the win, the Trojans have a record of 11-12.

Chris Whatley was the walk-off hero for USC. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Trojans third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Whatley said.
