Djordjevic, Cowboys Rough Up Demon Deacans

The Oklahoma State Cowboys put together a convincing win at Canaries Ballpark, defeating the Wake Forest Demon Deacans, 12-3. Doug Djordjevic was one of the hitting stars. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 6 for Oklahoma State. Getting the save was Lance Confer, his 2nd. Oklahoma State now sits in 5th place in the Ron Fraser Division at 14-9.
Josh Teacher helped the Oklahoma State cause in the bottom of the first. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Oklahoma State trailing 2-0, he put the hurt on a fastball from Jared Layton, launching it over the fence for a 3-run homer. The blast put the Cowboys in front, 3-2.
Teacher told the Oklahoma State Gazette: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
