Multi-HR Day for Henderson as Sun Devils Overpower Cougars, 14-6
Arizona State center fielder Sam Henderson had a 7-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 14-6 win over the Houston Cougars. Arizona State reliever Abel Murphy picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Michael Jones took the loss. The Sun Devils improve their record to 15-8 with the win over Houston.

Had Henderson not come through in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Henderson hit a grand slam. The Sun Devils never looked back after taking the 9-5 lead.

"Let's just say I'm happy we won," said Henderson. "There are a lot of people in the clubhouse who like to whine too much when we lose."
