Longhorns Topple Ducks as Cahall Shines
The Texas Longhorns thumped the Oregon Ducks, 8-2, at Ballpark of Celebration College. Bobby Cahall was a big reason his team got the win. Cahall went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Texas reliever Jason Weinmeister picked up the win to move to 1-0. Matthew Varga suffered the loss. At 9-14, the Longhorns find themselves in 19th place in the Cliff Gustafson.

Cahall in the bottom of the second had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and the Longhorns leading 2-0, he hit a 3-run home run.

"A great game, a great day," said Cahall about the win. "I can't complain."
