Miami catcher Rich Groves had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Clemson Tigers, 10-3. The first-place Hurricanes now have a 4-game winning streak.

Groves had a big at-bat with two out in the bottom of the first inning. With his team down, 2-0, the catcher hit a 3-run home run to put Miami ahead.

"I like the roll we're on," said Miami manager Leslie Hanson.
