Dan Miller helped his team muscle past the Baylor Bears, 6-4. In the game, the Louisiana-Layfayette right fielder went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. The winner was Josh Moore in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jeremy Sandberg took the loss. Louisiana-Layfayette now has a 3-game win streak.

Louisiana-Layfayette took a 5-3 lead on Bryant Santana's 13th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Santana hit in the top of the seventh, left Baylor pitcher Jeremy Sandberg visibly frustrated.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Miller told the Louisiana-Layfayette Observer.
