Tar Heels Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Bulldogs
The North Carolina Tar Heels beat the Georgia Bulldogs, 11-10 at Bruisers Ballpark, in part due to shortstop Justin Sikorsky, who nabbed player of the game honors. He belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 6. North Carolina reliever Josh Huntsman picked up the win to move to 1-0. Zachery Alden suffered the loss. At 9-9, the Tar Heels are currently 16th in the Ron Fraser Division.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the ninth, until Sikorsky delivered big-time for North Carolina, stroking a dramatic run-scoring double off Zachery Alden. The game-changing hit put the Tar Heels on top, 11-10.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Sikorsky said.
