The Georgia Bulldogs trumped the Vanderbilt Commodores, 7-4, at Ballpark of Barrow College. Georgia shortstop Ryan Gooch was named player of the game for his performance. He was 1-3 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI. Reliever Darryl Fraizer picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. George Roth took the loss. Getting the save was A.J. Schneider, his 2nd.
