The Florida Gators got a stellar effort from pitcher Daniel Sewell, helping Florida score a 4-2 win over the visiting Auburn Tigers. Florida is in 7th place in the Ron Fraser Division with a record of 9-6.

Florida grabbed control in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 1st, Jon Ybarra delivered a run-scoring double, to make it 2-1 in favor of the Gators.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Ybarra told the Florida Observer. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
