Cardinals Go Down to Defeat, 7-3
|
The TCU Horned Frogs beat the Stanford Cardinals, 7-3, at Dingoes Ballpark. The Horned Frogs got a fine performance from designated hitter Christian Brown, who captured player of the game honors. He was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 11th-place Cardinals have dropped 4 straight games.
Brown had a big at-bat with two out in the bottom of the fifth inning. With his team down, 3-1, the designated hitter hit a 3-run home run to put TCU ahead.
